The work you are doing is fine. I have used the service for the past three months, its good comparatively to other ISP's. you have a range of varied services and your Static IP rarely fails execept for the dynamic IP links which are very stable... for medium office I recommend guys to try out the Megasurf with Static IP you'll never regreat at only Ksh 4,499 the thing is fool proof. waiting for fiber in Mombasa.
If you are considering subscribing to Zuku, kindly take your hard-earned money to another ISP. Being a new subscriber, it started well for the 1st month, after that the service has gone from bad to worse. The internet disconnects abruptly and can be offline for hours, then when it comes back up speeds are so low even opening google.com is a problem. Calls/emails to customer service, we are told "It's a technical hitch & something to do with your node & turbo services having a problem & technicians are working on the issue." Am sick & tired of hearing that statement. Either fix the problem permanently or stop providing the service if you cannot manage to maintain it...plain & simple.
My neighbour is on zuku and being an IT professional he always keeps calling me to troubleshoot problems with connectivity which most of the time is due to zuku being down, please make your service more reliable.Another issue is with the support, please explain to consumers whats going on when a disruption occurs as some people heavily rely on internet, please look into this.
am on the wimax solution and am yet to complain. the installation is a breeze and the team came one week after the payment and quickly setup. They are the cheapest amongst similar providers and the link is stable and reliable.Cant wait for the fiber to show up in my hood. Good job zuku.
I have used the zuku internet service for a year and a half with no issues. The marketers showed up at my door in droves promising me tv, internet and phone. i signed up and even paid for the upgrade and now 4 weeks later and lots of stories later from Jason and Co. i am yet to have them come and install. The customer service is terrible...they are un-informed and unaware of their own processes and they do not appear to have any leadership or management to escalate customer issues to.
Although Zuku has pretty good service,they need to invest in hiring/training their staff to better handle clients/prospective clients. Had a bit of an exchange with one of their sales people the other day. Zuku has a great niche market and should not mess this up by having poor customer-facing services.
Since i have received someone working for Zuku and who conviced me to apply for it, nothing has been done, yes 2 people came and installed the wifi and the receiver (SD rather than HD) but nothing, i am still waiting since 2nd december 2010,they keep the money and they did at least not tried to call and explain what is going on (Admin edit) they need to explain the connection / refund procedure
your net have a fast speed and better cost
After waiting for a month to get connected, Zuku inform me there is no signal and have since decided to keep my installation fee. Three months down the line, countless phone calls, (Admin edit) Zuku need to clarify their refund procedure.
Moved from my old ISP to Zuku a few months ago.much better throughput and the cost is half what I used to pay before for the same bandwidth.Only called Customer care once and the service was great.
