What do you think about the people of Kenya? Do you have any suggestions on improvements? Please share your thoughts as simply or as detailed as you like.
Me thinks...Kenyans are just really unique people. They have an opinion about everything. We often give advice about what so and so should do or should have done and rarely follow the 'good advice' we give. Some things I really appreciate about us is that we say it as it is...when we don't like we say it. We are also a very hardworking lot...we hustle and hustle some more. I mean..for how many years have we been without the so called 'donor aide'? If it were some other African countries, they would be on their knees. As for #1's comment on being good dressers....ehhh...really???
Kenyans are smart,love to have fun and friendly for the most part.We like to look good,that's why you can never go wrong opening a boutique or apparel store.We adapt trends in bulk and are very erratic in our likes/dislikes.Today we like this hangout spot,tomorrow,we can't stand it.We really like chicken and chips.
Kenyans are generally an ignorant lot, myself included. We generally don't give a damn about anything that dosen't affect us directly, most of us have experienced the "BIG FIVE" only in documentaries, we never have time to visit the Museums, Safaris Walk,..most of the time because we claim we don't have time' but will get the time to indulge in alcohol, and the European League, despite all these, one thing stands out: we are generally hard working, and very hopeful lot!

Kenyans are hustlers to the end...we take pride in being Kenyans (despite the pretty crazy paradox of us not having a homogeneous language, culture etc that we can identify ourselves with)...Kenyans are resilient and just coz one thing didn't work out doesn't mean we are out of the race...
That said, we are poor planners, especially in the long-term and we need to work (from a general perspective) on keeping time...
Kenyans are generally ignorant of their country. We wait for Media to break it down for us. We really talk bad about Media when we give them to much freedom to do what they want but enjoy when they give us nothing but propaganda stories. We critise Government based on what media reports and not based on our research. Nobody monitors government as it takes decisions to take Loans yet we are the first to make a clarion call on corruption, yet we are unaware that we are allowing for too much money to flow without monitoring it. Shame on us!!!! WAKENYA WASIPOAMKA WATALILIA CHOONI!!!
A Kenyan(a Nairobian to be specific)is a hustler - hand him a lemon and he will either make lemonade, fling it back at you or try to sell it back to you disguised as an orange!
Kenyans woman are hard working.They do anything to sypport their family The only thing i dislike about them is they run after anything in trousers End up with kids and then strugle to bring up the same kid and surport those careless men(the so called husband). Kenyan men are different from even their fellow in east Africa not to memnsion worlwide They have no respect for woman or themselves.Not relaible at all.Not trust worthy they don't even trust themselves. They like having free fun make poor girls preginant and never take resiposibility. Exparts in making miss call even when applying for jobs Not clean most of them. Large number lazy and love short cuts Prefer to look after mistress and themselves but not own family.
